  • Carl Icahn Has a Message for Tim Cook

Carl Icahn, the billionaire investor and one of the largest shareholders of AAPL, has a message for Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Yes, another message (although it isn't yet clear if it has to do with the general theme of all of his previous messages, which call for more of Apple's cash pile to be distributed to shareholders by way of buybacks and bigger dividends).

Nonetheless, we'll find out tomorrow. Icahn tweeted today that he is penning yet another open letter to Cook.

"Just over 1yr ago we tweeted our large position in $AAPL & belief the company extremely undervalued. Since then, stock is up 50.6%" he shared on the microblogging platform, adding that "Tmrw we’ll be sending an open letter to @tim_cook. Believe it will be interesting."

Icahn, who seems to love nothing more than to share the spotlight with Apple, obviously has something he wants Apple to hear (along with the rest of us). MMi will share the contents of the letter once it is unveiled.
