  • Popular Gmail iOS App Gets Updated With Support for New iPhones

Slowly but surely, applications in Apple's iOS App Store are getting updated to be optimized for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both of which carry two new display resolutions with retina HD displays.

On Monday, Google has updated its popular Gmail application with just that support for the new retina HD displays of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The newfangled iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support gives the application a more immersive experience on the larger displays with greater use of the additional canvas space.

Google's Gmail application for iOS can be downloaded for free from this App Store link. If you're already using the Gmail application for iOS, then this update can be had from the Updates tab in the App Store application.

A Google or Gmail account is required to use the free Gmail application from Google.
