  • Popular Camera+ Photography iOS App Gets Updated for iOS 8 With Tons of New Features

On Thursday, the highly popular Camera+ photography application for iOS received a major update to version 6. Camera+ now fully supports Apple's brand new iOS 8 operating system, and it also includes a myriad of new features that you can take advantage of for getting that perfect shot that you envision in your head.

The developers behind Camera+ note that they're added a ton of new manual shooting modes to the application. You can control your new photography settings with a new wheel control that you can spin to set your settings.

Your focus and exposure can be set just where you like them with new manual settings. Using the new focus wheel, you will be able to change your focus manually so that you can control what will be the depth of field in your photo. With manual exposure, you can control your lights and darks better with more fine-grained control using the exposure wheel. New Shutter speed and ISO controls are also included.

The application doesn't stop there. New balance presets are included so that you can help automatically tone your images for the lighting conditions around you. Also included is a new macro shooting mode that will be much more intuitive for those trying to take a nice macro photograph with their iPhone.

Editing existing photos is also made easier in the new Camera+ application!

Camera+ is a $1.99 purchase from the iOS App Store at this link, but if you're an existing user of the application already, then this iOS 8 update with all these new features is completely free to you.

I use this app and I love it. This app used to be my fix for the native app not having a self timer.
