  • Apple Releases 'Actual Sizes' Print Ad of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

As many people went ahead and purchased the new iPhone devices before truly knowing what the new sizes looked like, some ended up disappointed, wishing they had purchased the other size. According to The Mac Observer, the Cupertino-based company is having a new print ad posted onto the back of magazines such as Rolling Stone. This way, consumers can actually see how big the new devices are when compared to their current devices and decide if they want to switch over or not.

The ad has an “Actual Sizes” tagline with a picture of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices. With this print ad, users can now know what to expect. This is similar to a print out made by an AppleInsider reader before the iPhones were launched. However, some reported that picture as being inaccurate, meanwhile others disagreed. Now, this is an official ad made by Apple, so it’s safe to say the pictured devices will indeed be accurate. The message underneath the iPhone says:

Stunning Retina HD display. Amazing new iSight camera. Powerful 64-bit A8 processor. The most advanced iOS yet. All in an ultraslim design. The new iPhones are bigger than bigger.
Are you happy with your choice or will you be exchanging for the other one? Let us know in the comments below.

I'm loving the iPhone 6 Plus, even thought I hear the larger phone bends in your pocket. Just have to be more careful with it.

I got the 6 and glad I did. The Plus would have been a little too big to use with one hand.. At least my hand.

Agreed, 6+ is gorgeous but the normal 6 suits my needs. Still works great 1 handed with my average size hands and the screen feels enormous. Loved playing around on the 6+ in the store though.

I got the 6+ and only lasted 3 days... I exchanged it for the 6.
the 6+ is huge. I do outdoor activities and I need to be able to use my iphone with one hand.
I really wanted the additional features of the 6+but realized that I need the smaller size.

More people should look at either the key notes or watch videos about the new features for the iPhone 6 plus. It shows the features that allow you to use it with one hand. You can literally reach all the screen with one hand by using the special features. Hopefully Apple will come up with a commercial that shows this, that way people won't complain about something that's not an issue.

The 6 has those same features. Double-touch the home button and the screen slides down half way so it's easier to reach things at the top of the screen. That still is a reach on the 6+ if you hold it at the bottom like I do.

Are there any other features that help? Another problem for me is the width of the screen. My thumb can't reach the left side when I hold it with my right hand.

I think an excellent idea would be for Apple and the carriers to suspend the 14 day restock fee for those who wish they
had a different size, larger or smaller.

This was a tough $750 plus 2 year decision for me to make. I made paper cutouts after I found the alleged, speculated sizes and carried in hand/pocket. Not a proper way to purchase site unseen.

So if Apple and carriers allowed a customer to exchange with no fee within 14 days, that would be excellent customer service in my opinion. If desired phone is backordered, allow to order and use current one till it arrives. Then back into
refurbished pot it goes, but not charging customers this "change of heart" fee when purchased sight unseen is different than normal phone pre-orders.

I would consider exchanging my 6 for a 6 plus, but have already given my 5 to my daughter to replace her broken phone,
so not only would I be paying $35, I would be without a phone for ???? In other words, with the above scenario, I would be highly impressed by true customer service and this would fix my buyers regret.

Otherwise, I will probably wait till more 6 plus are in order, buy one, sell mine on Ebay, and not be happy with that process and hassle.

The best thing apple could have done in my opinion is or was to put them on display at the apple store right after the announcement. That way people can go take a look and get a feel of the phone before they preordered. Even if it was just a dummy phone display.

I initially wanted the 6+ but was able to get my hands on a 6 and loved it. I'll stick with the 6(i workout 5 days a week and refuse to carry an iPad Mini to listen to music If i was stationary with my device, I would love to have the 6+.

How much you think AT&T paid to be the only carrier listed in that ad?

Additional features? Like what I thought it was basically the optic image stabilization that was the only difference

That and a couple software things like the iPad-style landscape view in certain apps.

In addition to that you can also turn on the "assistive touch" and put the circle wherever you want on the screen this helps me greatly. Even with my iPhone 6
