  • iPhone 6 Almost Cleared for Takeoff in China

Having jumped all but one remaining legal hurdle in China, it now appears that Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will soon be available inside of the world's biggest and hungriest mobile market.

Although Apple purportedly hoped to include China among the first round of nations to unbox the new iPhones this month, there remains no timeframe in place for Chinese consumers to gain access to the refreshed Apple smartphones.

Within the last 24 hours, Chinese media sources confirm, Apple gained regulatory approval for its iPhone 6 to access the nation's domestic frequencies. This was a vitally important step to reach as Apple strives to negotiate the elaborate regulatory obstacles in China.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will launch tomorrow in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, and Puerto Rico.
