  • Apple Releases the Refreshed Iteration of its iTunes Connect Developer Web Portal

Apple recently launched the updated version of its iTunes Connect Developer Web Portal. The update is home to a new design overhaul which comes alongside more robust data management features for launching, selling and managing content on the iTunes Store. The new online portal carriers over many of the same app management assets familiar to developers while polishing the overall presentation and updating a number of tools important for tracking user engagement.

The latest version of iTunes Connect comes with an updated My Apps section for app management, a new Resources and Help pane for solving payments and distribution issues, and tweaks to the Users and Roles section which is dedicated to managing Sandbox test users. The whole website has been redesigned to bring the developer web portal more in line with the iOS-inspired iCloud web client which was previously rolled out last year alongside iOS 7. It has the familiar “flat” iconography which has been mixed in with interface tweaks and cleaner drop-down menus and graphical assets.

Developers who have the right credentials can access the new iTunes Connect portal by just logging in.
