  • Apple Gets Rid of On Campus Program in Switzerland and Belgium

According to reports by Mac4Ever, Apple’s on Campus Program is apparently no longer available in Switzerland or Belgium. The program was introduced for students to purchase Macs and accessories at highly discounted prices from their colleges. It has been noted that although Apple’s on Campus Program was removed, Apple’s Education Store is still available. An Apple Switzerland representative confirmed in one line:

Yes, Apple on Campus was stopped. However, the Apple Education Store discounts are obviously still valid …
It is worthy of noting that discounts offered through the on Campus Program was higher than those offered through the Education Store. The program was thought to have been removed at certain colleges, however, it is official that it’s been removed throughout both countries. Just last month, the Volume Purchasing Program (VPP) was launched by Apple in several countries, including both Switzerland and Belgium. Therefore it does seem a little strange the Cupertino-based company would get rid of the on Campus Program.
