  • Apple Seeds Safari 7.1 and 6.2 Beta 3 Builds Alongside OS X Server 3.2 to Developers

The latest Safari 7.1 and 6.2 beta 3 builds and OS X Server 3.2 was seeded by Apple to developers on Wednesday. It has been almost one month since the last beta was released. Developers were asked to focus on credit card and password AutoFill, Smart Search and extensions, and more. The focus on Smart Search Fields is something new to Beta 3. It has been noted that the two updates will presumably be available for Mountain Lion and Mavericks users sometime late this year.

Other things that will be updated include new CSS capabilities, WebKit engine, Javascript Promies, and IndexedDB support. The Cupertino-based company also released a new version of OS X Server 3.2 to developers, which has build number 13S5165 and requires OS X 10.9.4. Developers can download the newest Beta 3 versions of Safari 6.2 for Mountain Lion and Safari 7.1 for Mavericks using the Developer Portal.
