  • Apple Announces Additional 21 Artists to Join Upcoming iTunes Festival

    Many new artists for Apple’s upcoming iTunes Festival taking place in London have been confirmed. The Cupertino-based company recently announced an addition of 21 artists that will be joining the September concert. The festival will be taking place starting on Labor Day, September 1st at the Roundhouse Theater in London. It has been reported that Apple is patiently waiting to announce the opening and closing acts of the concert.

    Noted on the festival’s website, artists that will be performing include Matthew Koma, Ryan Adams, The Script, David Gray, Paolo Nutini, First Aid Kit, Jessie Ware, and more. The concert will go on for 30 days and will feature 60 plus performers. Artists headlining the concert include Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Sam Smith, Blondie, and more.

    Just like previous years, tickets cannot be purchased for the event. Local contests are started in Canada, U.S., Brazil, Europe, Mexico, Australia and Japan and winners of the contests are given tickets. You can however, watch replays and live streams via iOS devices through the app, Apple TV, or iTunes on desktops.
