  • European Apple Stores Begin to Offer In-Store iPhone 5s Screen Replacement Program

It was only recently that we reported on Apple having iPhone 5s screen replacement services in-store in the U.S and Canada. Previously, customers had to ship their iPhone 5s to Apple for servicing and replacement, a process that would take up to five days. The service for screen replacements for the iPhone 5c already started earlier this year. According to 9to5Mac, this service will begin in Europe Apple stores as well, starting today. The news on the program starting today was actually reported by 9to5Mac last week:

But the catch is that the service is only available in the United States and Canada. That will change, though, next week. Sources say that the program will expand across Apple’s official retail locations in Europe as soon as Monday, August 11th.
A Europe-based Apple news website, Apfelpage, confirmed that the service has already begun in Europe Apple stores. And according to the Apple news website, if you need a screen replacement, it would cost you approximately 150 Euros which comes in at about $200 USD.
