  • Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week July 28 - August 3

This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most notable. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the Pangu version 1.1.0 jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x.

    1. QuickScope $1.50

First on our list this week is the new QuickScope tweak that brings plenty of information, shortcuts, and search results to your fingertips in a beautifully-delivered interface. The information that you look up is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also very useful. You can do things like look up movies, compose a Facebook post or Tweet, access Flipswitch toggles, perform mathematical functions, theme or colorize the interface, and much more. The look of this tweak is professionally polished, so it's hard not to recommend it. You can read our full review of QuickScope at this link.

    2. DailyPaper FREE

Next up, we'll be taking a second look at DailyPaper. This is a cool new jailbreak tweak that fetches a fresh new wallpaper for your iOS 7 device via Bing on a daily basis. This way, you'll always have something new to look at. You can view information about the Bing images in Notification Center and even save any of your Bing wallpapers to your Camera Roll if you really like them. You can read our full review of DailyPaper at this link.

    3. ConvoProtect $1.99

It's also hard to ignore ConvoProtect, a new jailbreak tweak that lets you add a little privacy to your Messages, WhatsApp, and Kik (more coming soon) messages. This tweak will let you hide message previews, password protect conversation threads, and even password protect group conversations. You can configure all of this from the tweak's preferences pane, which also can be handily password protected to prevent people from fiddling with your settings. You can read our full review of ConvoProtect at this link.

    4. Portrait Lock FREE

If you're one to get annoyed by the accidental change to landscape orientation in certain applications, but you still like using landscape orientation in other applications, then you could benefit from a jailbreak tweak called Portrait Lock. This tweak lets you configure Portrait Lock on a per-application basis instead of just enabling it or disabling it outright. This way you can have portrait lock in the applications that matter most to you and still enjoy landscape orientation in other applications without having to always toggle the feature on and off. You can read our full review of Portrait Lock at this link.

    5. QuickFolders $1.99

QuickFolders is also a cool new jailbreak tweak that's worth checking out. This tweak lets you easily get to the applications inside of your folders with improvements to speed and methodology. Instead of taps, you'll use a single gesture to open a folder and an application inside of it. You can also configure shortcut gestures, and animations so that it can be faster to get to your applications than it would be if you had to tap on things. You can read our full review of QuickFolders at this link.

    6. bluePill $1.99

Last, but not least, we'll be giving a last peek at bluePill. This tweak lets you unlock tons of additional features for Facebook and Facebook Messenger that would normally be off-limits to you, such as enabling and disabling read receipts, enabling employee settings, taking the limits off of how much media that you're allowed yo send, enabling full-screen mode, and much more. You can read our full review of bluePill at this link.
