  • Apple Pushes Tax Holiday in Back-to-School Marketing

Apple is pulling out all the stops as it ramps up back-to-school marketing throughout the waning weeks of summer.

In case you missed it, Apple has just rolled out a refreshed information page to go with its email broadcast explaining how a tax holiday can be capitalized on in select U.S. states next month for students and families looking to pick up an extra-affordable new Mac or mobile device from Apple in time for the school year to commence.

Although the promotion runs for different stretches of time depending on where you reside, Apple says it will lower sales tax charges in nine states for consumers who purchase new Apple products either in store or online during the month of August (again, restricted dates and promotional periods differ by state).

The advertising tax holiday states include: Georgia, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, New Mexico, and Florida.
