  • New Photos of Supposed iPhone 6 Touch ID Sensor Get Released

Photos of what claims to be the Touch ID sensor for the upcoming Apple iPhone comes from French website Nowhereelse.fr. The supposed photos are from Japan, but they don’t give much away. The only change that can be seen with the naked eye is the location of the new screw holes. This change is also something that is expected to be the major difference in design for the unreleased iPhone. Rumors have been surfacing that the Touch ID sensor will be modified so that durability can be improved upon. However, not much was given away in the recent released pictures.

Apple’s recent attempt to trademark the ‘Touch ID’ name was apparently rejected by the USPTO recently. Because of this, the only two options available for the company are to either purchase the existing conflicting trademark or to rename the feature completely. As we are getting closer to the iPhone 6 announcement and release date, there have been a number of iPhone 6 parts talked about on the web. New rumors have gone around recently stating that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will no longer be released this year, and may get delayed until 2015.

All these rumors could be false, or could even be true! We won’t know until Apple gives their announcement officially.
