  • Apple Names ReadQuick App as the App of the Week

On Thursday, Apple refreshed their App of the Week offering in the App Store with a new application called ReadQuick. If you recall, last week's offering was a popular game called République.

Usually quite the pricy application, this now-free application in the App Store helps you to quickly read through reading lists in your favorite applications. ReadQuick supports reading lists from Pocket, Instapaper, and Readability and will show you your articles one word at a time at a pace that you select to help teach you to speed-read them.

You will be able to pick a words per minute setting (WPM) of your choice for the reading, choose day or night mode, configure font size, track your own statistics in real time, and more.

If you'd like to grab this application before it goes back to its full selling price, we'd suggest making your way to the App Store right now and grabbing it. You can search for it yourself, or you can download it from this App Store link for free.
