  • Popular Google Search iOS App Updated With Ease of Access to Search History on iPad

On Friday, Google issued an update for its popular standalone Google Search application for iOS. The update brings the application up to version 4.0.1 in the App Store.

With the update now available, iPad users of the application can take advantage of a new feature that lets them swipe to the right in order to access the search history from the application. You can swipe right from just about anywhere in the canvas. The ease of access to search history will make it easier than ever to simply go back to something you were looking at earlier without having to remember what you were searching for later on.

In addition, a variety of bug fixes and speed improvements have been implemented in the latest version of Google Search for iOS, so it should be noticeable snappier and more reliable especially on those older iOS devices where system resources are much lower than those of newer iOS devices.

If you're and existing user of Google Search for iOS, then the update should be waiting for you under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Google Search for free from this App Store link.
