Rafael has stated that diversity in experiences and ideas play an important role for a company:

As people know, itís always easier to have a conversation with 10 people who are exactly like you because nobody disagrees with you. But on behalf of doing the right thing for a company, having diversity of thought and experience is hugely valuable.
GoDaddy is a domain registration company based in Scottsdale, Arizona and provides many online services to small businesses. According to Rafael, "GoDaddy has the power of an established company but with the energy of a startup.Thereís a lot of exciting things to come.Ē

Rafael was first introduced to the company through a colleague, and from there, she met CEO Blake Irving. Before joining Apple, Rafael was finance vice president for company Cisco Systems. Along with being on the GoDaddy board, she also serves on the boards of Autodesk and Echelon. Letís see which Apple exec will be the next to go and jump to another big company!
