  • Apple Store App Now Offering Three Free Music Tracks

On Thursday, Apple changed the free digital content offering in their Apple Store application for iOS. Last month, Apple offered the popular Tetris video game from Electronic Arts for free as a present to those that use the Apple Store application. Today, Apple is now offering three new music tracks from iTunes in the Apple Store application for iOS.

    Those three new tracks are:

    • Salt, by Bad Sons
    • Wake the Neighbors, by Kris Bowers
    • Calor, by Master Blaster Sound System

If you're using the Apple Store application, you will find the new free digital content near the bottom of the first page of the application. After tapping on it, you'll be presented with the interface above, allowing you to download the content from the iTunes Store for free.

Apple's goal in doing this is to keep users looking at Apple's product offerings in the hope that it may spur purchases. They started offering these free digital content downloads in August of last year.

If you don't already have the Apple Store application, you can download it for free from the App Store here.
