  • Chinese Consumers Turn Out in Droves for iPhone Launch

As anticipated, Apple's introduction of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on the world's largest mobile operator has been met with great fanfare and consumer reaction.

On Friday, China Mobile provided its 700 million subscribers access to Apple's popular globe-hopping flagship smartphone. And overwhelming interest was instantly apparent.

Cook was at China Mobile’s headquarters store as the world’s largest carrier started selling the iPhone, concluding six years of negotiations with Apple. As Cook handed out autographed iPhones with carrier Chairman Xi Guohua, people asked him about bigger screens and the use of flexible displays.
“We never talk about future things,” Cook told locals. “We have great things we are working on but we want to keep them secret. That way you will be so much happier when you see it.”

For investors, today's good news surrounding an enthusiastic China Mobile community is a promising development and one that could drive share prices of AAPL much higher in the coming days.

I could care less for Tim's autograph, I'd love to somehow get Jonny Ive to sign my iPhone...
