  • AT&T Flips the Switch for 4G LTE in Ten More United States Cities

AT&T has announced Wednesday morning that ten more United States cities now have access to their ultra-fast 4G LTE network speeds. Those ten lucky United States cities include:

    • Ardmore, Oklahoma
    • Arkadelphia, Arkansas
    • Cedartown, Georgia
    • Charleston, West Virginia
    • Durant, Oklahoma
    • Enid, Oklahoma
    • Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
    • Ponca City, Oklahoma
    • Rome, Georgia
    • Russellville, Arkansas

4G LTE offers a theoretical download speed of around 100Mb/s; however, due to the unfortunate realities of network congestion, download speeds on 4G LTE in real-life situations are more or less around 20-60Mb/s.

Many of Apple's latest devices, including the iPhone 5, iPad Mini, and iPad with retina display can take advantage of AT&T's 4G LTE network.

Are you from any of the locations that now have AT&T's 4G LTE coverage?
