  • AT&T Adds 7 More U.S. Cities to Their Expanding 4G LTE Coverage

AT&T has announced Wednesday morning that another seven lucky cities in the United States are now covered under the carrier’s ultra-fast 4G LTE cellular coverage. Those cities include:

    • Columbia, Missouri
    • Greenville, Alabama
    • Merced, California
    • New London, Connecticut
    • Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
    • Troy, Alabama
    • Vallejo, California

4G LTE offers a theoretical ultra-fast download speed of around 100Mb/s; however, due to the unfortunate realities of network congestion, the download speeds on 4G LTE in real life situations are more or less closer to 20-60Mb/s.

Many of Apple's latest devices, including the iPhone 5, iPad Mini, and iPad with retina display can take advantage of AT&T's 4G LTE network.

The day after I posted here about Vero I've started picking up LTE in a couple isolated locations around town. Thanks for the speedy response AT&T.
