Mozilla has Tuesday released Firefox 22 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The update brings not only some fixes, but also new features and improvements for the browser’s user experience.

New in the popular browser includes features like WebRTC now enabled by default, Windows users will find a better text-reading experience on high resolution displays, Mac users will find a download progress bar in the dock application icon, HTML 5 media playback rate can be changed, and JavaScript now loads much faster than ever before.

OpenGL rendering performance has been improved in Firefox 22 and plain text files will now word wrap to the width of the browser rather than forcing the user to scroll horizontally.
