have you ever wondered how to get a free kate app with somewhat of ease... here is how.

first add the following sources: repository.ripdev.com repo.cnpda.com.cn sephone.nm.ru/ripdev.xml iappcat.com/r/10005

if the sephone source doesn't work then on a computer go to the site xsellize.com and create an account then at the top you will see something to get the repo codes.

after you get those add that to installer.

then download the latest version of kate. then go to all packages and just search the word "kate." the package you want to download is the one that has the chinease or so letters it should be about 1.8 MB.

once that is done, launch kate and install the things you want... restart if prompted.

then ssh into your iphone of touch, go to /var/root/ripdev/ and copy the folder "preferencebundles" to a place you will remember. then go to kate and uninstall all of the things you installed. after that go to installer and uninstall all things related to kate.

after that is done go to the folder 101CN apps and install caterpillar v1.1.1 after that close installer and open caterpillar. when it goes to the screen to buy a license close it go to installer and go down to the ripdev folder and install R.i.P. dev

if the sephone source didn't work for you then go down to the xsellize unstable folder and install "caterpillar 1.1.1 patch", or "caterpillar keygen" then exit installer and open caterpillar install all of the components (or just the ones you want) and restart if prompted.

then ssh into your device and go to the folder /var/root/ripdev/ and completly replace the preferencebundles folder with the one you copied earlier, and there you go a free kate

one thing...

in settings it will say caterpillar that doesn't make a difference in the functionality

the uninstall feature from kate.app does not work (i am trying to figure out why now)

if all of a sudden the settings say that your license expired, uninstall the caterpillar keygen, go to the settings where it should still say expired, then reinstall the caterpillar keygen.

these are the only things that i have noticed so far if you find out anything else white me.
