  1. Unfortunately I never installed Open SSH app. I still had the SSH Daemon icon I would hit to disable or enable SSH. Also my stuck lockscreen doesn't show wifi on so I don't think its an option. I tried to SSH but Winscp says connection error failed and won't connect. I'm at the point where I think I will have to restore via DFU mode or atleast that is what was suggested. The only problem is I want to upgrade to 2.2 firmware if I have to restore and re-jailbreak rather than the current 2.2.1 FW just in case I decide to unlock the phone and use yellowsn0w soon. Can I do the DFU restore but instead of clicking the restore button and updating to the current FW 2.2.1, click shift then the restore button and download the 2.2 FW I downloaded to my desktop?...or do I have to first restore back to my 2.1 FW and then disconnect and try the shift+restore button to use the 2.2 FW from my desktop? I don't know if it makes a difference. Thanks for you help, I truly appreciate it.

If you have Open SSH installed try and connect to SSH, there is usually a window in which you can logon visa SSH even if you are at the logo screen. Once you log on you can delete the call controller app by deleting its folder in /var/stash Applications. You need to be fairly quick since you only have about a minute or so to do this before SSH quits.

On teh other hand, if you restore, you can re-download the paid apps. iTunes will remember that you already paid for them and not charge you again. Its a bit freaky as you wil click on "buy" but then iTunes will come back with qa message box stating that you have already purchased that app and do you want to download it again for free. Ive done this and can vouch for the fact that you will not be charged again.
  3. My lockscreen is stuck/locked!!!! Can someone offer any suggestions how to fix this? I have an iphone 3g jailbroken with 2.1 FW. I just installed a Cydia app, "Call Controller" which suposilly enables extra uses via the acelleromator. Upon the restart of the springboard after it installed, now the lockscreen is stuck/locked and I can't move the slider to get to the home screen, receive any calls or any function for that matter. A minute will pass and it will start an automatic RESPRING. After the respring the lockcreen returns with the same result, LOCKED! It will do this unindused automatic respring 2 or 3 times and then it eventually begins an automatic REBOOT with the apple logo only to end up right back at the locksreen again with it STILL stuck there. This same process just happens over and over again until eventually just a white screen which requires a hard reset(hold power+home), but after that hard reboot STILL the lockscreen returns JAMMED. Can someone PLEASE HELP?
