iDialer v2.0

iPhone intelligent dialer application. Scroll down for more info/screenies.


Should display your current phone keypad.

Provides incremental search of Contacts and Recent Call phone numbers.

Allows dialing of displayed matching number. Narrow matching numbers by entering digits. Step through matching numbers using +Contact button. Displays Current position and Match count as well as Contact name for displayed number.

Press digits to modify the displayed phone number. Press Dial to dial. Press Backspace to clear one digit. Hold for 0.5 seconds to clear all digits. Press +Contacts to save current number as default. Press Exit to exit without dialing.

Future features:

Add touchtones when pressing keys
Launch Contacts, Recents, etc (?) to replace all phone functionality

Added WMP Smart Dial search option modes so kDialer searches Phone #s, Names or Both (# = Phone #s, N = Names, #+N = Both)

In Names, #s match letters beside them, 1 matches "1QZ", 0 matches "0 ,./()-", * matches 0 or more of any, # matches any digit, and + matches 1 or more of any

In Numbers, #s match numbers, * matches 0 or more of any, # matches any digit, + matches +

Added + entry to Enter # mode with long press of 0

Added Preferences to allow setting default launch modes and turning key vibrate on/off and adjusting font sizing and number formatting as a (slight) international concession
