How to Change the SSH password from within iPhone.


* This requires your iPhone to already be jailbroken.

1.) Find “MobileTerminal” under Cydia, Icy, or Installer (personal preference) and install it to your jailbroken iPhone.

2.) After install, run MobileTerminal and type in the following commands hitting enter after each line:

3.) This will give you root permissions in the terminal window. Now type the following command into the terminal and hit enter.
passwd

4.) Now enter your new password and then again to confirm

5.) Enjoy.
