Why can't I get a carrier signal. I restored 1.1.4 with ziphone 2.5, jailbreak and activated it. Everything works fine except i can't dial out.

Are you an ATT user? If so, you will need to do a fresh restore to 1.1.4 through itunes, and then use ziphone to only jailbreak, not activate. Use itunes to activate the phone.

I am a ATT user, but I don't want to sign a contract with ATT. Do still need to activate it through itunes. Why can't I jailbreak and active with ziphone?

I had same problem , try to change imei then change to original imei again by ziphone

can anybody confirm this, does changing the imei really work when you just jailbreak and activate?

hhas anyone had this trouble with tmobile?? Help!!
