    Question 3.0 upgrade gone to hell

    I unlocked my iphone 2G 2 yrs bk with ziphone. Use a vodafone sim in India. Tried to upgrade to 3.1.2 with ziphone 3.0 last night. But after I did "prepare for upgrade" in ziphone followed by restore to 1.1.4 with itunes 9, my sim is not being recognised in itunes. The msg I get is "The sim card in this iphone does not appear to be supported...". I have misplaced the original at&t sim that came with the phone. Anything you can suggest to help will be most appreciated?

    I still see the vodaone logo in the phone and can make and recive calls manually but all other programs are not accessible. the screen shows the connect to itunes icon.

    1 - you do NOT need any AT&T sim. Your phone has NOT been successfully unlocked. REDO!

    2 - Restore to 3.1.2 using iTunes 9.0.2
    3 - Download & Run Blackra1n
    4 - Install Cydia & Blacksn0w
    5 - Run Blacksn0w

    DONE!
