ZiPhone vs. iNdependence 1.4b5
Just want to ask the community what their experiences are with ZiPhone v2.5 and iNdependence v1.4b5 are. I recently upgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 and activated, jailbroke, and unlocked using ZiPhone v2.5. Everything worked as it should be and I had an activated, jailbroken, unlocked phone.
I did however discover when I wanted to change my password using iNdependence v1.4b5, that iNdependence doesn't recognise my phone as jailbroken. The Status reads:
"Connected to iPhone, Firmware 1.1.3, activated, AFC connection, jailed".
Thoughts..?
cheers,

you need to add the afc2 support to the Services.plist file and then you can browse the file system with ibrickr, iphonebrowser, etc. What you're experiencing happens the same with ziphone as well. Just look around this forum to find instructions on how to do this.
