Default 1.1.4 ziphone mail app crash

I did a restore to 1.1.4 then jailbroke via ziphone 2.5. It worked great but my mail app crashed when i try to open it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

just add this source to your installer...
    www.dlubbat.com/iphone.xml
    Then install 1.1.3 Mail Fix

Just look under "Tweaks (1.1.3)" that might help.

Try ASmailFIX 1.1.3 (under Tweaks 1.1.3). There's also a mail fix under 1.1.4 tweaks, but it's only for passwords. You can also see all of the mail fixes if you look under "all packages" in installer.

Execute this command using ssh or terminal ...

I noticed some people have been having problems with the firmware upgrade 1.1.4 & mail, I had the same problem, i've hunted high and low online and found this fix.

    1) Download OpenSHH in iPhone (make sure it’s ON by using Services or Boss Prefs).
    2) Open Fugu on your Mac and connect to your iPhone.
    3) You may get an error message “Warning: Remote Host Identification Has Changed”. If so, you won’t be able to connect. If not, skip to step 7.
    4) On your Mac, click on the User/Home folder and hit CMD+Shift+G and type “.ssh”.
    5) Delete the “known host” file.
    6) Go back to Fugu and connect to your iPhone.
    7) Go to var/mobile/Library/Mail.
    8) Right click on Mail to set the permission to 777 or simply check all selection boxes.

You should now be able to open Mail on your iPhone!

Thanks goes to blacksocks wordpress & firmwareunlock.com

chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/mobile worked perfect for me, ZeroSkill, thanks!

I used WinSCP and issued the command via the terminal.
