please help iphone 1.1.1

ok so i just got a iphone from a friend of mines i have a business phone thru att but i cannot get the iphone thru my business so i bought the iphone on my own now im trying to unlock it and having no luck with ziphone i think its version 1.1.1 please any help would be great

do you want to keep in on 1.1.1 or do you want to update it to the new firmware. i would recommend updating because you will get the appstore then. if you update update to the newest firmware witch is 2.1. after you do that get the program quick pwn. after that locate the 2.1 firmware witch should be located in the iphone software updates folder on your computer. drag it onto your desktop for easy access. after that is done connect you iphone witch should be updated. run quickpwn and it should find your phone and ask you to locate the firmware it is on. click browse then desktop then the firmware 2.1. after that quickpwn will ask you if you want to flash the base band and unlock the phone. check the unlock box then continue. then quick pwn should run its corse. once it is done your phone should be jailbroken and unlocked.

ok so i downloaded quickpwn but i cant find my iphone firm ware is there anywhere i can download that from?

the firmware is located in the itunes folder under iphone software update. ive been looking for a site that hosts it but i cant find one. to get to it click my computer then c: then program files then itunes then iphone device updates
