To start off... I used ZiPhone to unlock my phone with its 1 click which unlocked and activated it. It turns out after the Z went on my screen in verbose mode, it got one line after it and stopped. I ended up having absolutely no baseband, at least thats what programs like independence say "Baseband Version: - ".
To be honest, I have spent 12+ hours on this attempting to fix my phone, but nothing is working.
As of right now I can only load 1.0.2, 1.1.3, and 1.1.4 firmwares onto my phone, I don't know why the others won't load.
My symptoms:
1) The phone says Repair Needed
2) It cant find my sim card
3) wifi doesn't work
4) Bluetooth doesn't either
5) I have no BT + WiFi address
6) IMEI, ICCID, or modem firmware isn't set.

How can I fix this?!

I've found a few guides, most of which are missing files or are for downgrading basebands, but my problem is... I don't have a baseband to begin with!

I have also tried "Upgrade Bootloader from 3.9FB to 4.6" in iLiberty, iErase BL 3.9 baseband (refurbish), and Downgrade 4.6BL to 3.9%Flash/unlock 4.03 in Ziphone.

Does anyone know of a guide to use? I have searched this forum, and checked google for various hours.

I'm not understanding... if you can successfully load firmware versions 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 (with iTunes DFU restore i assume) this should rewrite the baseband at the same time.

Weridly enough, it doesn't! Is there any manual way to copy it onto the iPhone?
Do you think if I do a restore to 1.1.3 then one to 1.1.4, and repeat the process 5 times it will work?

Have you tried the refurbish button in ziphone? It flashes baseband, bootloader and allows you to restore in itunes after

I have same problem after using Ziphone 3.0 at the software launch date. My ip is OTB 1.1.4 with 4_05_01G baseband however bb is gone after jb and unlock. I be annoyed to restore with error 1011 and google over 30 hours.
I using iliberty 1.3 and reflash the baseband 4_04_05G and recover in miracle. I with my phone in blessedness 72 hours and the baseband finally gone at least. iliberty is nothing to do this anymore. Anyone help!!

Anyone know how to ssh into the iphone if wifi doesnt work, or use terminal on the iphone, I got it on... but i open it, and nothing happens.

If your baseband is gone, chances are it's being erased by iLiberty each time your unlocking which means it isn't fully unlocking your phone. Try using a different program or check that you have a baseband after you freshly restore 1.1.4 to your phone (DFU Mode)

I've used iPlus, iLiberity, ZiPhone and some others... Independece is what I always check to see what the phone status is... and it always has a blank for the boot loader.

When ever i try to downgrade basebands, it always stops when it starts to change the baseband...
Also, it wont change the BL either, I'm not sure why it freezes

Does anyone know anything about apple replacements, if I flash my phone with 1.1.4, and when you connect the phone to the computer it says it needs a restore, if I take my phone into the apple store... Will they replace it, or void the warranty? (I got this phone replaced last weekend)

They probably will give you a new one, but i would wait a little bit before going because you just got a new one and that might look a little weird. If they ask about anything just make up a fake story, like when you restored it for the first time it got unplugged in mid process and never worked since

Someone told me that when you run ZiPhone, it edits some phone files and its detectable, is that true?

i am pretty sure that is, but if you use pwnage or winpwn there is no detected stuff as long as you restore back to an apple firmware
