Unlock sounds not working in iOS 6.1

I'm not sure what happened, but it seems like any Winterboard theme that uses the UISounds folder isn't working. I have an unlock sound that I would like to fix it.

Current UISounds folder location on my 4G with iOS 6.1:
/System/Library/Audio/UISounds

Yea i dont think winterboard has been fully updated. I emailed and tweeted saurik about this issue but he hasn't responded. Hopefully it'll be fixed in time.

Yep I emailed him too :P I'm sure his bombarded with this issue now. He must get it fixed. For now I've just replaced my original files temporarily.

whats the location for the original sound files if i just want to swap them out all together.

I'm pretty sure it's in system > library > audio > uisounds

How do you switch them out though?

Just use a SSH client like winscp or a usb file browser like iExplorer or iFunBox and navigate to the location above. Then just drag and drop your preferred sounds into that location.

On a side note though you might want to make a backup of the whole uisounds folder just in case you need to change it back, And the sound files also need to be in the .caf audio format. Just make sure they are named exactly the same as the ones your replacing.

I found another unlock sound file in Springboard.app; it's called 'unlock.aiff'. However, adding a Springboard.app folder to the theme folder still doesn't change the unlock sound. I'd agree that we'll probably need to wait on Winterboard update.
