winterboard crashes after installation!?

Hiya,

I have an iPhone 3GS iOS 4.2.1 jailbroken with greenpoison.
Installing winterboard is seemingly no problem, but it crashes after i reboot my device, and all the widgets are sort of moved upwards in my home screen and go all funny looking.

The same happens if I try to install a theme, and also the theme doesn't change.

Any ideas people?

reboot
reinstal winterboard

the theme may not be updatedfor the ios and device your trying to use

^^could also be the case but the description kind of confuses me. it doesnt theme so how are widgets moving? idk lol

Thing is that the theme doesnt change, I mean it looks just the same as before, but the widgets are sort of moved.
And if I remove winterboard, which I have done several times, like installing - uninstalling, it's back to normal..

I guess I need to find themes that are updated for my iOS?
But how do I know if they are updated?
Is there anything written in the description or something I should look for?
