how to change default apple folder icon???

Does anyone know of a way to change the folder icon AND make the thumbnails of the apps within the folder transparent without changing the enclosed apps to have transparent icons??

to change the folder icon, you need to make a file 59x50 and name it "FolderIconBG~iphone.png" (without the quotes).

as for making it transparent, i've attached the file that i use. it lives in the "com.apple.springboard" folder found within the "Bundles" folder.

***Important***
for the above to work, you must delete a few files. after you have SSH the file to the "com.apple.springboard" folder, navigate your way to "private/var/mobile/Library/Caches" and delete the following files (dont panic, it is safe to delete these files. after your re-spring, these files will be remade).

after you delete the files. re-spring. your folder mods should now work.
