Can someone please help me with buuf?

I cannot figure out how to display the icons or anything else for that matter.
I'd never used iFile before downloading buuf 4 either.
I've watched the creators video but it really didn't help me at all.

Could someone give me some sort of directions, please?
I would soo greatly appreciate it!

Buuf is used with winterboard. You need to get that from cydia. Not sure if you realized that already but always have that first.

I do have winterboard. I'm using buuf4 for the iPhone 4, and everything seems to use something in iFile but I really don't get it at all

I've tried to find other tutorials, but I've had no luck.

I have Buuf on my iPhone 4 and works great. Make sure it's at the top of winterboard list and checked. Bobba booey to ya.

I don't really understand you do you mean when you use the theme that you only see the original icons? I don't know how to fix it but you can try to reinstall the theme or respring/reboot or send me the theme folder and I will take a look

Well, when I install the photo, camera and map icons are not themed. They look the same as if it were still stock.
I have these black borders around my dock icons too

I can't even figure out how to change the icon pictures.
No one every really seems to help me

Try turning off summerboard in the winterboard app!

what firmware are you on? I had this theme set up perfectly on 4.1 but when I updated to 4.2+ I kind of had the same problem as you, I'm thinking. anyways I downgraded back to 4.1 and it's working like a charm.

That must be my problem because I'm running 4.2.1! I considered that maybe that's what was causing It.
How do I downgrade?

you will need to change the icon names with ifile.
