Settings background changed, but not Cydia?

I followed one of the several tutorials online on how to change the background in Cydia/Settings,

I created a folder called CydiaAppleWP, created a folder inside it called UIImages, and placed the wallpaper I wanted to use here and name it UIPinstripe.png


I SSH'ed them to var/stash/Themes.******, loaded Winterboard, selected 'CydiaAppleWP', resprung, and then went into my Settings app and the new background was there, so I went and loaded Cydia, but alas I get the original old background


What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem and I can't either figure out how it works. Solution would be nice.
