Making iphone themes on ubuntu

Im running ubuntu and would like to know how to get my themes onto my ipod. I dont have wifi so ssh aint a possibility. Also if anyone has a good gimp iphone icon tutorial could you give a link.

P.S. gimp is better than photoshop
