LockScreen themes not displaying as intended?!

Ok, I downloaded some LockScreen themes from Cydia, namely the "Carbon Glow Slide" and the "Glass Orb Sliders", and while I see a change in the slider, the slider "box" is still there and sometimes even the sliderboxfont. The most noticable thing is that the font of the time doesn't change as well as the time "box".
HOWEVER themes like "Minimal Lockscreen" or the LockScreen themes from "buuf2" and "Glaskart" seem to work! I don't get it.

I suppose I need some extra packages to make them work? Or what else could I possibly do wrong as a Cydia Newb?

ps: Also, I downloaded the Glaskart theme, which is featured on Cydia. It comes with a five Icon dock plus the "Shuffle"-effect, but when I choose that option in Winterboard, the dock icons don't really change, nor can I add a fifth icon to it. I suppose I need some extra tools for that too?

Or let me forumlate another question: Does YOUR LockScreen theme functions well? (preferably one of those I mentioned above) When yes, did you install anything fancy for it or just normally downloaded from Cydia and mounted in WinterBoard?

Make sure you have any additional themes or changes above the theme you are using in WinterBoard. Sounds to me that if you may need to have 5 icon dock installed also to add an additional icon in it. Screen shots would help.

I'm sorry I didn't mentioned this earlier but eventually I got the glasklart theme to work completely. It's a real gem.
Just had to put some stuff above others in winterboard and it displayed correctly.

Alas, I am still clueless about the Carbon Slider or the glass orb sliders respectively. I see changes of course, but e.g. the time is still displayed contrary to the screenshots of those themes, which clearly show lockscreens without time.

If you are referring to the clock on the status bar, there is a tweak in Cydia for that, I think it's called "No Clock".

Hm OK, i thought there must be a tweak for this. But I also want to point out the "Slider Box" which shouldn't be there with the Carbon Theme for example and also the Slider Font, which doesn't belong there. At least, the screenshots of the developer proves otherwise.
