    Default Wondering about winterboard.

Today my Iphone got stuck in safe mode due to spingboard crashing. I was not home and tried to solve the issue by uninstalling winterboard(all my themes as well). Then I rebooted the iPhone and it was running fine. I re-installed winterboard and the themes I'd lost as well. After another respring the phone was back to normal.
    My questions are:
    1. Was there an easier way to fix my problem?
    2. I was suprised I did not have to prioritze anything in winterboard after re-installs. It was all where it was prior to removal. Where does this info get saved?
    3. I've modified icons and sound in my theme(boned). The sounds were gone but modified icons remain. Why? (all changes were done with iphonebrowser relplacing existing files in the orignal theme)

Your iPhone crashing, has nothing to do with WinterBoard and I don't know who keeps spreading this rumor??! Your iPhone can crash for several reasons and I will give you just one, you could have too much junk on your iPhone through Cydia or even too big of a theme running on your iPhone.

Thanks for the tip. I had assumed winterboard crashed only because everything else was in working order while in safe mode. You are likely correct that it was a theme issue as winterboard has been stable with no isssues & lately I had added some new themes to dissect for modification. Thanks again, have a good one.
