An example of this is one of the LCARS Star Trek themes. Basically each icon is a piece of the puzzle and when they are correctly arranged it forms a full picture. Does anyone know what the correct dimensions and easy way to do this would be?
If you want then square, they'd be 80x80 ... for a four wide layout ... assuming you want them touching. You could start with the image you want and use an editor to cut in into the 80x80 pieces. But I'd probably just make a transparent 80x80 icon and overlay them over the wallpaper ... that way if you want the same look with a different background you don't need to make all new icons.
