Possible? -- Change "slide to cancel" icon but not "slide to unlock"

Hello everyone,

A special thanks to everyone in the community for providing all the great resources for customizing themes -- Winterboard rocks!

I have a quick question, which I didn't find in the search. I'd like to change to change the "slide to cancel" icon from the green arrow to, say, a red arrow *but without* changing the other "slide to unlock" icons. Likely this is not possible, but I wonder: could there be some way of editing which icon Springboard.app uses for just the sync-cancel slider?

Im not really sure about this, have you tried changing the bottombarknobred.png?[Not sure if its the cancel one] located in Bundles>com.apple.TelephonyUI

Hey thanks for the suggestion! I think that wouldn't quite do it, because I'm not looking to change the power off slider (red knob) but am instead looking to change the green sync-cancel one to red..

I tried looking at this site too, but came up short since they don't say what the cancel png is either. Newbie: iPhone modding basics - iPhone Forum


My feeling is it's not really about replacing a .png file, because I'd like to keep my "slide to answer" still green, but switch "slide to cancel" as red; instead one would have to change what .png is *called*. I hope this is possible; any advice most appreciated.

bottombarknobgray.png is the same for the slide to unloack and slide to cancel sync.

bottombarbkgnd.png and bottombarbkgndlock.png are the area behind the knob that has the writing in them that says slide to cancel, slide to unlock.
