Keyboards not changing

Im making a kirby theme, but I ran into a problem. I changed everything from the UI images out of the several I got including over 200 kb images. Im assuming that is part of the keyboard. Well, in my theme I changed all of these kb images but none of my keyboards are changing! AM I doing something wrong? When I press the international button on the keyboard the space bar becomes pink and says whatever language it changed to, and then goes back to gray.

keyboards dont work in 3.0+
but u can try and make it work using the iaccessmethod

Theme Keyboard on 3.0!!!
