3gs does winterboard work on phone ?

I have a 3gs 3.1.2 phone. Blackrail jailbroken is there a special way to install winterboard on phone. As last time i installed it got stuck on reboot and i had to restore my phone with itunes.

just install mobile substrate first, then install winterboard

i have the exact same situation
unlocked with black snow
and everytime i try to intstall winterboard i have to reboot and retore...
and i have the mobile substrate on it too
before i even instal winterboard
but it still doesnt work

Not sure what the problem would be. I've JB a bunch of 3gs phones and never had any problems with installing winterboard. Even after installing mobile substrate first.

Same situation .3gs 3.1.2 JB winterboard won't work.bcoz mobile substrate dosnt work.I tried had to restore. This is known issue I guess with 3.1.2. So I'm nt installing MS and winterboar.any update?

i've the exact same issue.

i've tried ways to get winterboard installed but nothing works.
From cydia, rock and even icy.

Can someone please guide me through this?
i'm running on 3.2.1 firmware.

yes, i did try installing mobile substrate.
then it gets to reboot device.

then i try installing winterboard alone.
it gets to reboot device again.

i've rebooted my iphone umpteen times...
i desperately need to know how to get winterboard installed and working...

But seriously. There was a point in time that Winterboard did not work on the 3G S. However, it works perfectly now, and you should be able to install it normally.

i would HIGHLY suggest.. if you are crashing and going through cydia, to get "Rock your Phone" and try downloading through that.
Sometimes my ish crashes on one, so i open the other from cydia/rock and i will find that one will work over the other...

Give that a try!
