How to fix problems with Winterboard on 3.1.2

This is my experience with Winterboard on 3.1 and 3.1.2 using both pwnage tool and blackra1n. I think the people having issues where they need to restore the fault lies more with mobile substrate. So first install mobile substrate by itself. When you press reload springboard the respringing will take forever. Just wait a minute or two and then do a hard reset (hold power and home button until phone resets and you see apple sign). Once booted back up all your apps that use mobile substrate (winterboard, five dock icon etc.) should easily install and give you no problems.
