wbweather and lockscreen issues

I installed winterboard and it works great with various themes. I then installed the wbweather application and it too works great. I have customized the way I want the weather to be displays such that it shows the city/temp on the bottom right of the lock screen.

However, I am finding that whenever I use the wbweather theme it makes the lockscreen completely black regardless of where I set the 'user lock background' option in winterboard.

How do I make the combination of winterboard and wbweather use my custom lock screen wallpaper?

As a 'fix' I copied the existing wbweather theme to my own and modified the lockbackground.html file. I replaced the

background-color: none;

css tag with

background-image:url('file:///var/mobile/Library/Lockbackground.jpg');

This hardcodes the widget to use the user selected wallpaper.

setting " background-color: transparent; " is not helping!

I too tried setting background-color: transparent but it didn't work for me either. That is why I ended up copying the whole thing to my own theme and then set:

background-image:url('file:///var/mobile/Library/Lockbackground.jpg');
