How To Use Complete Theme?

I downloaded a complete theme off of cydia but I don't know how to actually activate it. Which option in winterboard can I use to activate it? Or do I need to use openSSH for this, I am clueless please help me out.

As long as you have winterboard installed, all themes you D/L from Cydia will be placed there. You activate them by putting a check or tic by them and exit the app. Your phone will respring and theme will be applied.

can someone help me out
i can see the theme in winderboard
but when i apply it
the theme doesnt get applied
any reasons
