Safe Mode (Springboard Crash)
Since installing the latest versions of Mobile Substrate and WB, I am continually getting SpringBoard crashes at random and the iPhone 3GS will just jump into SafeMode. I have looked at threads for previous versions of this error and I am not running DIM Wallpaper. Anyone else having this issue or know the solution?
iPhone 3GS 32GB with Purplera1n RC2, Latest WB/MS from CYDIA.
UPDATE: Looks like i may have solved my own issue. I uninstalled WeatherIcon and it hasn't happened since (3 hours). Hopefully this may help someone else.

I'm having the same issue. I'll try to remove the WeatherIcon and see if it helps.

Looks like it absolutely was the issue. 8 hours and going strong.

Yep, mine has been rock solid since removing it too. Kinda sucks, but not a deal breaker.

I notice you two both have 3Gs's, how is winterboard on the 3GS? like can you have a full ui theme and let me know how much ram you have left still?
That is one thing i dont like about the 3G, after having a big theme, it really slows down the phone :@.

This is my first iPhone, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it still seems pretty quick. I have around 120MB of RAM with it running.

mine will go into safe mode frequently as well, but in a somewhat different manner
i have mQuickDo, which is the new verson of iHome. it adds icons to the lock screen to jump quickly to ipod, mail, etc and at least once out of every ten times i press one from the lock screen, my springboard restarts and i go into safe mode.
anyone have any issues such as this?
