I am new to the Photoshop CS3 and to Photoshop in general, because I have been using Paint.Net and Gimp 2.6 until someone gave me their copy of PS-3. I am looking for someone who knows how to use Photoshop and where to get good tutorial links, I am a beginner with PS and want to learn as much as I can from a very good step by step or vid. I have looked all over and bookmarked many, but if someone with the knowledge of how to use PS that would be great. Obviously I want to create better themes for my 1G iPod touch, and would appreciate any help.

Be sure that you create a folder in your browser for Favorites or Bookmarks(depending on your browser) that is specifically for photoshop tutorials or you will find that they will overwhelm you Bookmarks sections. What I normally do is save the internet pages of all of the tutorials that I am interested in that way I can load them up later on my laptop when I am not near an internet connection.

Well you see, I am looking for some kind of tutorial or step by step written. That shows beginners on how to create basic icons, similar to iPhone/iPod touch icons. Like I mentioned, I have many bookmarks with vids. but none show right from the beginning. I mean like what is the best way to start of with, with New (what size/transparent/white) or what. I really want the most basic, and also I have been having issues when I get to the part of putting an image on the icon. When I put the image on the icon, how do I add color just to the image and where is the best place to find images to download straight to Adobe PS?
