Winterboard - Themes not working

this happened to me to but if you turn on summerboard mode the themes will work.

I got this issue with own created themes,
I fixed it by matching my newly ssh-ed folder and files rights/permissions and user/group with the existing saurik theme's user/group.

on iPad the user/group should be like root/wheel, just check some working theme if you have some...
it worked for me, might help you.

I guess we can tweak ssh to directly transfer files and folders with corresponding user/group, but I didn't check how
