Winterboard update-any faster?
Recently after I created my poll about Winterboard slowdown, Winterboard got an update. The changelog says a huge performance increase: Do you notice an increase?

I didnt notice any difference with the update of winterboard. Ever since i upgraded to 2.2, the phones been straight up snappier. Even with winterboard and all my widgets, the phone is still snappy. Then i upgraded winterboard, and noticed no difference. Thats just me though....

Honestly, I see no difference in the performance of winterboard. However, unlike the above post, I did notice an improvement on the iphone. I notice that my 3G is now more responsive then before. However, winterboard is just the same it was before I upgraded it today on Cydia.

Saurik has made the image loading mechanism more efficient.
This will result in better speeds/less lag not a performance boost.
Those with more widgets/HTML in their themes should notice more of a difference than those with less complex themes.
I have a simple theme and have noticed a small speed increase in the initial loading of apps' splash screen.

i've noticed speed improvements on my phone for sure...this is a great update! Hopefully Cydia is next with the speed update. That is by far the slowest loading/performing app on my phone now.

Mine is snappier and loads quicker, however, I have to refresh on my own. Winterboard no longer self-refreshes with any changes I make. Maybe I should jb again...?

I am also experiencing the loading time with Cydia. However, every other apps take only between 2 to 3 seconds to open up and ready to go. Hope Saurik gives us that update quick.
